Shenanigans Party
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Cute characters. Real blood. One very smug demon.
Shenanigans Party is an online party brawler for up to 16 players, hosted by a grinning demon who takes a cut of everything you earn. Your adorable little troublemakers shove each other off platforms, get flattened by giant balls, take snowballs to the face and ride rockets into their friends. They stay cute the entire time. That is the joke.
Play solo against bots or online with friends. Brawl through 13 minigames, then scheme on the Party Board between rounds while the demon collects his toll.
Last one laughing wins.

The 13 minigames
- Bumper Brawl. Sumo. Push everyone out, be the last one in.
- Ice Breaker. The floor is falling apart and it is your fault.
- King of the Hill. Hold the zone. The zone keeps moving. The islands are floating.
- Red Light, Green Light. Run on green. Freeze on red. Twitch and die.
- Hot Potato. Pass the bomb. Do not be holding the bomb.
- Coin Rush. Grab coins before the tide comes in and takes them back.
- Steal the Crown. Wearing it scores points. Wearing it also makes you a target.
- Flood. Climb the tower. The lava does not wait.
- Sweeper. A spinning beam sweeps the arena. Jump, or do not.
- Snowball Fight. Real aiming, limited ammo, snow walls to hide behind. Three hits and you are out.
- Hexagon Heat. One safe colour gets called. Every other tile drops into the void.
- Magnet Mayhem. Push and pull pulses fling everyone. The middle is a hole. So is the edge.
- Pushy Penguins. Hold your ground while the ice throws them at you.

The Demon's Mark
Whoever is winning gets branded. The Mark carries a bounty that grows the whole round.
Survive it and the pot is yours. Shove the marked player and you take a slice. Knock them out and you take the lot. So leading is not a punishment, it is a dare, and nobody has a reason to lose on purpose.

The Party Board
Between rounds everyone lands on the board, and this is where friendships go to die. Tickets from the minigames buy items you carry until the exact moment they will hurt someone most.
There is a rocket you actually ride before it flies off and explodes on somebody else. There is a T-Rex that walks over to whoever is richest, bites them, circles them once for effect, and carries a third of their tickets back to you. There is a rabbit that visits everyone at the table and nibbles a few tickets off each of them, which somehow feels worse. And there is a double dice for the roll you should have gotten the first time.
One purchase per turn, so nobody buys the game in a single lucky windfall.
The demon shows up here too. He is not asking.

What is in it
- Online multiplayer for up to 16, plus solo and bots.
- Character editor with a large roster of bodies, hair and hats.
- Bots on Easy, Medium, Hard, or Mixed, where every bot picks its own difficulty and they all make mistakes.
- The losers decide. Everyone outside the top 4 votes each round on what happens next: the minigame, a modifier, or which power up drops.
- Host migration. If the host quits or crashes, the party puts itself back together and your score, wins and tickets come with you.
- Full controller support, including the whole Party Board, with button prompts that match your actual controller.
- Native Linux and SteamOS, so it runs on Steam Deck.
- 30 languages, checked line by line by people who speak them.
- Cloud saves, so your profile follows you between machines.
- Blood can be switched off in the settings if the look is not for you.
- Everything is handmade. No AI generated art, music, sound or translation, anywhere in the game.
Controls
Move with WASD, jump with Space, press it again for a double jump. Sprinting is automatic, hold Shift if you want to walk. Ctrl to dash. Left mouse to strike, hold it for a stronger shove, or press it in mid air for a ground pound. Mouse to look.
Every key can be rebound, and it plays fine on a gamepad.
Status
This is an open development build and it is playable right now: solo, bots, online, all 13 minigames, the board, the editor.
More minigames are on the way and I update the build regularly. If you like where this is going, a donation goes straight into development.
About
Shenanigans Party is made by LuminosDEV. It started as a small idea about cute characters doing horrible things to each other and got very out of hand.
Found a bug, got a mode you keep losing, or something that felt cheap? Leave a comment. That feedback is what decides what I build next.
